I've loved all of the hand spun yarns I have purchased from SYWT. Each are so rustically beautiful with a wonderful earthy feel about them and this one is no different. Absolutely divine! A lovely rich russet with variations in the colourway showing through to random strands of caramel-gold ...really lovely. Add to that a subtle sheen from the silk fiber and the skein seems to glow. Perfect service as always, many thanks!

Amazing. It's the first mulberry silk I've used - as variation and accent in the warp of a scarf I'm weaving. The textures, sheen, and color variations are subtle, wonderful. One caution for those who use it for warp: the yarn is mostly astonishingly strong . . . but be ready, every once in a while, for the yarn to separate. So you just need to cut out that warp end, start another. Only an occasional snag. Remains absolutely a dazzling, "five star" yarn. Thank you.
